Dr Connor qualified with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery from the Queens University of Belfast in 2012. On completion he moved to Edinburgh in Scotland to work in both a private and public practice while completing a 1 year postgraduate training placement at the Edinburgh Postgraduate Dental Institute which involved mentorship of some of the UKs top specialist dentists to further his knowledge in Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry.

Successful completion was followed by a move to Perth in August 2013 where he started to work in private practice. In 2015 he successfully completed his Primary Examinations for entry to the Royal College of Surgeons. In 2017 he started his Postgraduate Diploma Conscious Sedation and Pain Management at the University of Sydney as one of only four dentists to be successfully accepted into Australia that year. Over 2017 and 2018 he travelled to Westmead hospital in Sydney on a regular basis for training in both theory and practical from Dental Sedationists and Specialist Anaesthetists. By the end of 2018 he had successfully completed all modules allowing him to register as a AHPRA endorsed Dental Sedationist.

In 2019 Connor travelled to Melbourne to attend courses from the Dental Implant Academy to keep him updated with the latest developments in implant planning and development. These have included fully guided or keyhole implant placement as well as guided bone regeneration and augmentation for complex cases. In 2022 he completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implantology from the Cambridge Academy and his practice is focused on Dental Implants with a keen interest in immediate full arch rehabilitation and Oral Surgery with the aid of Conscious Sedation. Connor currently lectures for MoreDent for the placement and restoration of implants as well as being a mentor for local dentists for the Postgraduate Dental Implants Certificate and Diploma.
